Upper Tahquanemon Falls

I think one of my favorite places to visit in Northern Michigan is Tahquenamon Falls. It truly is a beautiful spot in the state and I'll put it up against other spots in the world. I'll even put it up against Niagra (Niagra is nice but too developed for my taste).

There are a few wolves and coyotes in the area.

This is looking from the main trail.

This is looking down from the gorge. It's a bit of a hike to get down here and a hike up a bunch of stairs, but worth it.

This is another view from down there.

I like this picture for some reason. The slightly out of focus falls versus the in focus trees.

This is looking from the brink. Another trip that is worth it.
