The Michigan Department of Transportation Memorial

Dedicated in 1994, this is a memorial to the employees of the Michigan Department of Transportation who lost their lives during construction projects. It was paid for with funds collected by current and retired M-DOT employees. The materials are materials used during construction. Each figure represents a different job on a road construction project.
