One of the neater aspects of living in Southeast Michigan is that occasionally you get to see development cars driving around on the roads.
In most cases they are either painted like the car above or they will have different things to cover up the body styling. In World War I and II, this would have been called dazzleflage. The object of this pattern is not to hide the object but to make it unrecognizable.
