Catching a DHC Beaver

Next I caught a pretty unique plane.

The DHC-2 Beaver is produced by de Havilland of Canada.
It is a high winged short takeoff aircraft.  It is quite versatile and used by bush pilots all over the world.
It first flew in 1947.
Close to 2000 of them were built.
It was used to develop the Otter.
It's a pretty cool looking aircraft.
One more shot.
