A Surprise Visitor

The next ship was kind of a surprise.

I saw that she was pulling out, so I decided to look to see what ship it was.
It was the Lake Guardian.
The ship is run by the Environmental Protection Agency.
She was originally built as an offshore supply ship and in 1990, the EPA converted her into a research vessel.
She can carry 42 passengers.
She is mainly used to research water pollution and its effects.
She was orignally homeported in Bay City but I'm not sure where now.
She is headed up to the Soo.
