I didn't want to come up empty handed in the Port Huron area, so I looked at Marine Traffic before leaving, I saw that the Lee A. Tregurtha and this one was heading up. I was originally planning to catch the Tregurtha but I saw this one as I was coming up to St. Clair. I stopped at my usual spot to catch her.
I'm not sure where the Algoma Discovery was coming from but she was heading to Superior.
The list the last port visited as Port Colborne but I think she was coming up from Quebec City or so.
Given her configuration, I think she was heading to Superior for grain.
I did bring my drone with me. I was hoping to catch the Nickel Plate with it but I didn't really have a good spot to do that.
It was a little windier today.
But the sun was right, so I'm not going to complain.
She continues up the river.
