Next Up, the Whitefish Bay

 I saw that the next ship was coming up but I wasn't sure if I would be able to catch her but she passed by as I was waiting for the other ship.

Her origin is listed as Port Colborne but that is the last spot she would have visited on the Welland Canal.  So that means I am not sure what she was carrying but it definitely looks like she was loaded.
She was heading to Gary and that means she was likely carrying coal or iron.
But I am not sure.
Anyway, it was pretty cool to catch her.
I like seeing the red hulls.
The add some color.
She continues down the river.
One more shot before the next ship.

    Good observation about the rust being from the anchors rather than the hull! It’s a small detail, but it says a lot about the ship's upkeep.

    The shipping routes are fascinating. Thunder Bay as the likely origin and Montreal as the destination make sense for a grain shipment.

    Knowing that Wagenborg ships are registered in their home country adds a sense of authenticity. Delfzijl as the home port is a nice touch of geography to the story.

    Seeing her pass under such an iconic bridge must have been a great moment! Ships and landmarks always make for a compelling scene.

    The pilot change system is an interesting part of maritime operations. The Westcott approaching for a pilot switch in Detroit must have been a cool sight!
