Last Saturday I was getting ready to just go planewatching when I saw that there was a ship that was making her way up the river. I was waffling about catching her but then I saw that she had an icebreaker for an escort.
I decided to make my first stop at the boat launch near Marine City. That is the best spot for an upbound ship in Marine City. I was hoping I could catch her and the icebreaker there.
As I was looking down the river, I noticed that there were some people looking up. So I decided to look up and I saw why. There was an eagle circling over the park. I decided to get a couple of pictures of it but it was flying too high up. This was the best one.
