Thunderstorms in February

We've had an odd winter so far.  There were a couple of heavy snowstorms and after that it has been pretty mild.  It's been in the high 50's or low 60's for the past week.
And today we actually had some thunderstorms.  I think there might have been some hale as well.
I was hoping to get some shots of the hale but instead I got some shots of the rain.
One more shot.  As you can see it was getting dark.  The rain didn't last too long.

A Rainy Day in Ann Arbor Yesterday

I know I did a quick post about this yesterday but since I got through all my posts from Sunday, I will do a couple more pictures from yesterday.
So far this week, we had a tornado warning on Monday, thunderstorm warning yesterday and just rain today but still.  I think it is supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday as well.  I guess it beats snow.
I liked the way the rain drops were hitting the pavement but not enough to actually go outside and take a picture.
I was trying to get the rain in this picture.  As you can see, it was coming down pretty hard.
 The clouds looked ominous enough.
This probably would have looked cooler as a night street scene.  Oh well.

Just a Little Rain....

Yesterday we had a tornado warning in this area, so that meant we had to seek shelter.  Today we have a thunderstorm warning.
The rain was coming down pretty hard, so I decided to get a picture of it hitting the pavement.  I thought it looked pretty cool.

Wierd Weather Day in Ann Arbor

I was in internal audit training today and I started to watch as the thunder snow started to fall.  We had a break shortly after that, so I grabbed my camera.
So it started with the thunder snow.  It was amazed at how quickly it was coming down.  Sadly, I couldn't get that but I could get the rain.
This is probably about an inch of snow that fell within 30 minutes or so.  Made things look fun.  Fortunately I didn't have to deal with it.
I liked the way the snow was hanging on the trees.
I really liked the way this tree looked.
One more shot through the window.

Greetings from Rain Soaked Seattle

Well, I got to Seattle today.  Went to the Fish Market earlier today and then tonight I went to the Space Needle.
As you can see, it was pretty rainy today and I was still a little out of it of sorts.  Actually, I feel like I'm swaying right now.  I'd swear I hear train whistles.
