Saint Stanislaus Church - Bay City, MI

For most of my life, this is the closest thing I've seen to a cathedral. It's almost how I imagine seeing some of the cathedrals in Europe (one of these years). If you come into Bay City via the Zilwaukee Bridge, you can see this tower over the rest of the city.

The first church was built in 1874 and was made out of wood. The current church was finished in 1892.

An odd angle of one of the towers.

A sort of close up shot of the front of the church.

The statue of Mary.

A full on shot of the front. You can see this from a ways out. It's really neat when it's lit up at night.

The top of one of the towers. I thought the birds perching on it was pretty neat.
