Catching a Dream

Last night was the time shift.  That usually leaves me unmotivated the next day because I lose that hour of sleep.  Today was no different but I hated to pass up on pictures, so I so a brief window where I could get a good selection of aircraft at the airport.  It also helped that the planes were coming in from the direction where I could get pictures from the parking deck.

First up was a plane I wanted to catch anyway.
It was the 787 belonging to Lufthansa.
It was coming in from Frankfurt.
It was pretty cool to see.
And I like the pictures from here better.
Because I get this shot.
One more.
A 717 getting ready for takeoff.
It was heading to Buffalo.  I'm guessing for wings.
The other plane I was interested in catching.
This plane was delayed and that let me catch it within a reasonable time after the 787.
It was a 757-300.
It was coming in from the world of the Mouse.
About to touchdown.
Landing with a puff of smoke.
Passing the UPS planes.
It is making the turn for the taxiway.
That gave me a chance for a cool shot.
Namely the frontal shot.
A CRJ-900 gets ready to take off for Syracuse.
Another shot of the 757.
It passes the UPS planes again.
Passes me.
A Spirit A320 getting ready to head to New Orleans.
Because I like the 757.
One more.
An A321 coming in for a landing.
It was coming from Sarasota, Florida.
An A319 getting ready for takeoff.
It was heading to Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C.
This one wasn't much later.
So I decided to stick around to catch it.
It was an Air Canada flight from Montreal.
I think this is the second Air Canada flight to Detroit.
Another 717.
This one was getting ready to head to St. Louis.
And it starts its takeoff roll.
