Tawas Point Lighthouse

So I went up to my mom's today. Almost had visions of heading up to the Mackinac Bridge but those visions were quickly squashed. I needed to head somewhere, so I decided to head over to Tawas to look at the lighthouse.

It's not a bad looking lighthouse but it is not my favorite in Michigan.

The sky wasn't the greatest though.

Although I guess it's not too bad here.

I thought it was pretty cool to see this grasshopper.

I'm not sure what kind of flower this is but I like it.

This is an effect I wanted to try where I take the zoom and pull it in and out. I might have to try it with something else though.
