I wasn't feeling well this morning, so I slept in a bit. I got better later in the afternoon and I saw that the Lee A. Tregurtha would be passing Port Huron. I decided to head up there.
The sun was shining and it was about at the right level.

I like the looks of afternoon downbound ships. The sun is hitting them just about right, even though I'm getting some shadow.
I really like the look of the ships with the scrubbers. The steam coming out makes it look like a proper steamship.
She was coming down from Marquette.
Which means that she had a load of taconite.
She's heading to the steel mill on the Rouge River.
Sadly, it will be well after dark that she is on the river.
She makes the turn for the rest of the channel.
I love this angle, especially since the light is just about perfect.
I brought my drone with me, so I was kind of happy.
It wasn't too windy, so I was able to get my drone up in the air.
I didn't notice the reflections.

I headed down to Marysville because I saw a salty pulling out of Sarnia. I didn't have a chance to get her there, so I stopped here.
There was some kind of festival going on and I was lucky to get a parking spot.
I was hoping to use my drone but I suspect with the festival that wasn't happening.
