The Sivad Johnson

As I was taking pictures of the Frontenac, this guy passed by.

I think he was in front of the Ren Cen doing a firehouse salute for the Grand Prix yesterday.
This is Detroit's other fireboat.  It is named after Sivad Johnson who was a firefighter that died trying to save two girls from drowning in 2020.
The boat was named after him on August 31, 2020.
It is a cool looking boat.

I was going to head up to Grayling again to get more pictures of the Kirtland warblers but my car decided not to cooperate after this.  I stopped at a McDonald's in Auburn for a bathroom break because I was going to drop off a drawing for my mother after that.  She turned off the car while I was in the McDonald's.  When I got back in the car, it wouldn't turn over.
I called a tow truck and got a jump.  So I headed over to an Advance Auto Parts nearby to get the battery checked.  The battery was dead.  I asked if they could change it, they couldn't because the battery on the Focus is tucked under the cowling.  Then I headed to an O'Reilly's nearby and got the same answer.  I was able to make it back to Ypsilanti.
This morning, I got another jump to get to the repair place.  My car wouldn't go into drive.  The tow truck driver and I looked it over and I said I would turn it off and try to start it again but I would need a jump.  He jumped it and it worked.  I figure it was something with the sudden no power messing with the computer and the second jump reset it.
Anyway, I got the battery fixed and the car seems fine now.
