Another New Visitor to Michigan Exposures

Next up is a new visitor to this blog.

One of the ships I wanted to catch was this one because she looks pretty neat and I was pretty sure she was new to this blog.
She was built in 2018 by Huanghai Shipbuilding Company in China.
I think she is owned by a Chinese shipping company, but I'm not sure.
She was coming down from Milwaukee.  I presume she had a load of grain or something like that.
She was heading over to Montreal where she will deliver that grain.
She is approached by the M.S. Westcott.  They are going to do a pilot change.
You can see the pilot start to climb up the ladder.  I think the new pilot has to get to the bridge before the old pilot can come down.  The process takes about 10 minutes or so to complete.
It's kind of neat to watch.
It was fairly calm out, so I had my drone with me.  I like this shot.
I was going to try a straight on shot but I didn't want to get too close.
You can see the Westcott still at her side.
She moves past.
I kind of like this shot too.  The sky looks pretty cool.
Getting close to a beam shot.

The beam shot.
And she continues on.  She is registered in Hong Kong.
