Last fall as I was listening to NPR, they had a story about this barn. I asked my mom about it and she knew exactly what I was talking about. So last fall we took a drive to see it. I didn't realize there was a museum with it, so we came back to see the museum part of it. They have all sorts of old farm tools.
The barn was built in the early 1900's because the owner wanted something unique. These barns were pretty common in other parts but not in Michigan. This barn is the largest Octagon Barn in the country.
The barn is probably about 30 miles east of Bay City.
