Sadly it came time to leave San Francisco and head on the train to get back to Michigan. So I hopped in the cab and went over to the Amtrak Station in Emeryville (across the bay between Oakland and Berkley). The trip over was fairly uneventful and I didn't take any pictures. So I checked my baggage and waited for the train.

Here is the Zephyr as it approaches the station. It had pretty much the same configuration as the Empire Builder but it is still neat to look at trains.

A shot as the train comes up closer to the station.
