A Goose on her Nest

I did wander around the park a little bit and I saw this goose with her nest on the pier.

 I guess I was far enough away when I took this picture because she wasn't hissing at me.  I'm actually kind of surprised she built a nest here as this is a pretty well travelled part of the park.

I just hope that whatever is contaminating the park doesn't turn these babies into some strain of mutant geese.
