The Spruceglen Surprises Me

Like I said in the last post, I thought that I had plenty of time before I had to be back in the Soo for the next ship.
I ended up miss estimating the time that it would take for the Spruceglen to arrive in the area.  As I got to Point Iroquois, I looked out and say that she was about ready to pass the lighthouse.  The skies were kind of hazy and that made for an interested effect.  It almost looked like the ship was floating in air.
I do like the look of ships as they pass Point Iroquois.  After getting other shots of the lighthouse, I decided to head back to the Soo because I only had a couple of hours to catch her.
I decided to make a stop up at Cemetery Hill on the way back.  I was hoping to catch a straight out shot but she had already passed.
I made it back to Mission Point and I'm glad because the skies were kind of dark and gloomy.  I really like dark and gloomy with ship pictures.
Another shot as she passes by.
 a shot of her bow.
 And pilothouse.
I'll have to admit, this is probably one of my favorite views on the Lakes.  It shows how peaceful and tranquil boatwatching can be.
