A Belted Kingfisher

After catching the Herbert C. Jackson, I ended up leaving the island.  As I was rounding the bend, I noticed a bird up in one of the trees and it looked like an eagle.  So I stopped.

 As I was going to get pictures of the eagle, this bird flew into my field of view.  At the time I took this picture, I didn't know what it was.

I later found out that it was belted kingfisher.  I kind of hope I see it again.  I would like some better pictures.
