The Alpena in Essexville

I found out a friend of mine just got hired as a mate on the Alpena.  From that I found out that it was in Essexville.  Because I was already close by, I had to get a picture of one of my favorite ships.

The Alpena was docked at the LaFarge Cement plant in Essexville.  This is the plant that my Grandpa worked at for a long time.

 Because of the height of the river, I couldn't get pictures from my usual spots.  but this worked pretty well.

 I went over to the spot next to the plant but I definitely couldn't get my usual shots but this one wasn't too bad.
