A New Pilot Boat
The next boat is a new addition to the area.
The Huron Spirit is the newest addition to the pilot boat fleet of Port Huron. I think she was brought here a couple weeks ago.
She was built in the Gladding-Hearns Shipyard in Somerville, Massachusetts at a cost of $1.6 million.
She left Somerville on November 13 and arrived in Port Huron on November 24th. This was after a few stops along the way.
