First up was the Herbert C. Jackson.
I think she is on her way up to Superior in order to pick up a load of taconite. Given that the St Marys River is still covered in ice, it might be taking a bit longer than normal.
This was the first time that I've seen her this season. It was also the first time that I've been up this way this season. It was getting pretty warm out and that was kind of messing with some of my shots.
She almost gives me the profile shot.
I was kind of surprised to see some wharf rash on her. it seems like Interlake does a pretty good job at keeping their ships looking pretty nice.
Of course, it's also possible, this is below the water normally.
One more shot as she continues on.
