After getting pictures of the two ships, I decided to head up to Fish Point because I'd heard that the Snowy Owls were back. I decided to take M-53 up. I saw a sign pointing towards the Octagon Barn.
I'd been there once but it was a while ago. The lighting was perfect for a picture but unfortunately, the barn itself was closed. I could still get a decent picture of it. The octagon barn is not native to Michigan but they use them in Iowa. The original owner of the land wanted build one here. So here it is. I think it was built in the 1890s.
