Buddha Statue

This was pretty neat. Apparently this is a statue from a Chinese sculptor and is visting San Francisco until next year.

I tried to get a better overall shot of the statue but I really couldn't. This one is not too bad though.

I think I remember that this statue was in response to the destruction of the statues in Afghanistan by the Taliban. And in a note of irony, I think I saw somewhere on the statue something about Jesus.
