The next part of my trip is through Iowa. I was feeling like I was getting on the homestretch of my trip. Chicago was less than 8 hours away, which meant home was less than 15 hours away. The terrain was getting more familiar to me (I've never been to Iowa but it reminded me of parts of Michigan).
This is a pretty typical shot of Iowa.
Crossing the Missouri River.
The sun peeking out and hence the orange sky.
And it somehow wouldn't be Iowa without a barn.
Anyways, this part of Iowa wasn't too bad. It had enough hill to it to be interesting. The trees broke it up nicely and there were enough different barns that I didn't feel like I was looking at the same farm all the time.
