I wish I would have taken notes of what this statue was, but I think it was too the settlers of San Francisco or something.
At any rate it is a pretty neat statue.

This is called California Volunteers. The sculptor was Douglas Tilden, a deaf sculptor from the San Francisco Bay Area. Several of his sculptures can be found in San Francisco.

It is By Douglas Tilden but this statue is called The Native Sons. California Volunteers is another statue.
