The Curtis Randolph in Action

One thing I was not expecting to see yesterday was the Curtis Randolph.  Nor was I expecting to see her with her hoses on.

 But there she was in order to welcome the Edson as she passed by Detroit.  It reminded me of pictures I see of Fleet Weeks in other areas.

 And I'll have to admit, she is a pretty impressive looking boat.

 But I would imagine she doesn't get to see alot of action, which is probably a good thing.

 She has a pretty nice profile.

 She heads a little further up the river.
