The Roger Blough Passes By

There are very few ships that I will go out of my way to photograph.  Anyone who has followed this blog for any length of time knows that the Blough is one of those ships.  She is definately my favorite ship.
It's very rare that I get a head shot, so I will take what I can get when I get one.  Although this isn't a perfect headshot.
This one is a little better and from it you can see part of the reason why I like the Blough.  She is a tough looking ship.  I still think she looks like a snapping turtle.
Even her quarter view looks mean.
But compare the bow wake in this picture to the wake in the Buffalo picture.
And her bow looks like it belongs to a ship that means business.
 The almost profile shot.
A profile shot of her pilothouse.
A little advertising for Caesar's Casino in Windsor.
 Another profile.
 A shot of her deckhouse.
And her pilothouse as she pulls away.
 Her selfunloading gear.
The Blough, Buffalo, Westcott and Wyoming in one shot.
 The Blough passes the Wyoming.
And she starts to pass the Buffalo.   Unfortunately I couldn't get any other shots of her after this one.  However, I am sure we'll meet again.
