Some Distance Planewatching

When the winds are right, planes taking off from Detroit Metro will fly over my work building.  There were a couple days last week where I heard the 747 flying overhead.  So on Thursday, I decided that I would try to catch it.

 First up was the A350 that was heading off to Shanghai.  I saw some pictures from a flight on one of these.  It looks pretty nice.

 It was followed by a 767 heading off to Seattle.

 That was followed by another A350.  This one was heading to Amsterdam.  I even got a beacon shot on it.

And then I was able to catch the 747 on her way to Frankfurt, Germany.
