The Tri-Centennial Light

It's not often that I get to this part of Milliken State Park.  Usually I just go to the other park.  When ships are at anchorage this is actually better spot for them.
This was the lighthouse built in honor of the Detroit Tri-Centennial.  It is based on the Tawas Light.
I think it is actually a viable aid to navigation though.  you can see the Blough in the background.
Looking up at the lighthouse.  Unfortunately, it was raining, so I might have gotten some drops on my lens.
One more shot.
