Sandhill Crane

As we were heading back from Tahquanemon, we kept seeing these birds. I found out that they are Sandhill Cranes. They are pretty cool looking birds, almost remind me of a Concorde SST.


This is probably one of my favorite shots of the series. Two birds. Almost reminds me of the Russian Double Headed Eagle. The angle is almost such that it does look like a two headed bird.

I like this shot too. I was amazed that he let me get as close as he did. Usually, I end up with a crappy shot of the bird flying away.
