When I started on Belle Isle, I thought I would just be taking a picture of a ship or two and leaving. I didn't think I would stay towards sunset. It's just as well as I think some of the best views of Detroit are from Belle Isle.
It was kind of a hazy day, so I decided to take this shot of the obscured skyline.
This is the MacArthur bridge. You can tell it's getting close to sunset as there are some pinks and oranges in the picture.

Sadly it wasn't cloudier. Cloudy skies make for awesome sunset pictures. This one will do though. You can see the oranges, pinks and purples of the sunset.
Not sure why this picture isn't as impressive.
