Thunder Over Michigan 2010 - Part 8

Next up is the Stearman PT-17 Kaydet. This plane was used as a the primary trainer during World War II. This particular one is unusual in that the pilot has kept it to it's original specs. Most versions now in use are higher powered and have other modifications. It was amazing watching this guy put the plane through it's paces considering that.

Here he is climbing. Despite the lack of speed, I do like the classic look of the Biplane.
