The Tri-Centennial Light - Detroit

The Tri-Centennial Lighthouse was built in 2003 to commerate the 300 year anniversary of the founding of Detroit. It is an active lighthouse and is on a pretty nice little park.

The ship in the background is the Atlantic Huron which is one of the ships I saw at the Soo Locks last summer.

A shot of just the lighthouse.

Looking up.

A shot of Downtown Detroit in the background. The view of the city is pretty good from this park.

A shot of the lighthouse from the street. You can kind of see Windsor in the background.
