Some Pheasants

One of the Michigan birds that I don't have in my collection is the pheasant. They are kind of neat looking birds but tough to get pictures of because they are so attuned to being hunted. Generally by the time I see them and have my camera ready, they are gone. There was a large enough group that I was able to get a couple shots of them.

Unfortunately this one was underneath a tree so the colors aren't as good.

This one is a little better.

I was happy to get a shot as he headed out towards the field. You can see the plummage. I think they have a really neat feather pattern.
