The Alpena After Dark

Before heading home, I decided to get a couple night shots of the Alpena.  I don't normally get to take night shots of ships because the city lights don't show well on them when they are in the river and I'm not always at the Soo.  It was kind of cool because it gives a different type of lighting.

 I really like this one.  For some reason, I love the way ships are lit up at night.  Add in the lights from the dock and you've got a cool picture.

I tried to get this one from a slightly different angle but I was shooting through a fence, so I didn't quite have the right steadiness on the camera.  It's not bad but I like the other one better.
