Introducing the Manitoulin

And there is another new ship on the Great Lakes.
Her name is the Manitoulin and I'm pretty sure that she is named after the Island which is the area near Drummond Island.
She has a rather interesting history despite being new to the Lakes.  Her stern section was built in Croatia and she was originally known as the Trelsi.  Then she was known as the Euro Swan and finally the Lalandia Swan.
She was towed to China where she was mated with her bow section this year.  She then made the trek over here and started to deliver cargo about a month or so ago.
Her AIS is a little screwed up right now and she's reporting her destination as the Soo.  I know that's not true as she is almost to the eastern side of Lake Erie as I type this.  Or it is true, and she's quite lost.
My only complaint is that she has a rather odd looking self unloader.  That makes her a little ungainly but then again, ships aren't around for beauty contests.  Apparently this makes it easier for her to navigate into certain ports.
 I like her pilothouse.
And she continues on her way.
