And the Yule Moon

There was a full moon tonight.  I guess this was kind of a special full moon as it is every 20 some years when a full moon occurs on Christmas.  When this happens, it is called the Yule Moon.

I wanted to get a picture of it much earlier but I accidentally hit format on my camera.  That meant that I had to get the card home to recover my pictures from earlier today.  I would have been upset losing pictures of the Manitoulin, as I've never seen her before and I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to see her again.  Oh well, it still looks pretty cool.
