The Ann Arbor Railroad

The current iteration of the Ann Arbor Railroad was formed as a successor to the Michigan Interstate Railway. This was a continuation of a former Ann Arbor Railroad which went bankrupt in 1975.

The current version run a line from Toledo to Ann Arbor carrying mostly automotive related cargo. It operates a total of 5 locomotives.
