Travelling US-12 - Dearborn

After leaving Detroit on US-12, you immediately hit Dearborn. Dearborn is the home of Ford Motor Company. Dearborn was established as a village in 1836, although it was settled earlier in 1786.

This was built in 1929 after the city of Fordson (named for Edsel Ford) was merged with Dearborn.

This is a Dodge Dealer in Dearborn.

This is the Ford Motor Headquarters built in 1956. I would have liked to get more pictures but they don't like people taking pictures on the property and Michigan Avenue is not conducive at this point to do so.

This is looking down Michigan Avenue at roughly downtown Dearborn.
