Jackson, Michigan

Jackson is approximately 40 miles west of Ann Arbor as you head on I-94. Jackson Michigan was founded in 1829 when Horace Blackman found a place to start a farm. It is famous as the founding place of the Republican Party.

This theater was opened in 1930 and renovated in 2005.

This is the Jackon County Tower, the tallest building in Jackson. Not sure when it was built.

A detail of one of the statues on the building.

Looking up at the Building.

The Jackson City Hall. It was built in 1927.

A couple stores.
