The Pere Marquette 1223 in Winter

I decided to head over to the western side of the state yesterday.  I was hoping to catch some lighthouses with some ice on them and it was a nice enough day.

 Of course I can't go to Grand Haven without stopping to take a picture of the train there.  I've posted pictures of this before though.

 I kind of liked the contrast of the black train against the white snow.

 The straight on shot and the lighting was almost perfect for me.

From a slightly different angle for the front.  I kind of wish the fence wasn't there though but I guess they have to have it in order to keep some folks off the train.
