The St. Joseph Lighthouse in Winter

My last stop of the day was the St. Joseph Lighthouse.  Again, I was hoping to see it covered in ice.

 Well at the least the pier was covered in ice.  Since it was a fairly warm day yesterday, the ice was really slippery and I didn't feel like braving it.

 So I guess I'll have to be content with these pictures.

 The wind was starting to pick up, so I didn't really want to venture to far on the beach to get the angles I really like.

 The ice was piled up pretty high though.  I'm not sure if this is normal though.

 You can see some sand on the pier.  That was actually pretty helpful in getting me as far out as I was.
