A Stop at Fish Point

I went up to a graduation party in Bay City.  After the party was over, I decided to return by way of Fish Point.  I wasn't sure what I was going to see there.
There were some water lilies that were starting to pop up.  I might go back soon to catch them more in bloom.
There were a few egrets around but they weren't in a photo friendly spot.
I caught this group of Sandhill cranes.
This is a blanding turtle.  I think they are fairly rare in Michigan.  You can't really tell from the picture, but he's pretty big.
 Another water lily.
I cropped this one because I liked the lotus effect.
I cropped this one even more.  I think I like this one.
