The Detroit Princess

I also got a bonus in that the Detroit Princess was doing her dinner cruise. Of all the times I've been on the river, I don't think I've ever seen her out on the River.
The Detroit Princess originally started life as a Riverboat Casino down in Mississippi. I'm not sure if the business died out or she got old or they legalized gambling and no longer had the need for the Riverboats but at any rate, she was retired.
Because of her height, she couldn't fit under some of the bridges that cross the Mississippi River, so she had to come up via the Atlantic and St. Lawrence Seaway. She was renovated in Toledo and now serves as a cruise ship on the Detroit River. One of these days, I will have to do a cruise.
