A Guiding Light

This is actually a post for a friend of mine.  She is going through a rough spot in her life (I don't really want to go into details here).  Now I find out another friend of mine is also going through a rough spot.  So I guess I need more lighthouses.

This is actually an old picture and I'm pretty sure I've posted it here before.  What I liked about this picture is that it looked like the light was actually shining.  The lighthouse is Crisp Point in the Upper Penninsula.
We like to think that we can muddle through life on our own.  We try to be tough and find our own way through life.  Ships are one of the biggest things I know about.  You look at them slicing through the water and they look fairly confident.  You think that nothing can stop them but sometimes even they need a guiding light.

So for all the people that are going through stormy times, I hope that you can find your lighthouse.

My lighthouses are made up of the good people who somehow are always there for me whenever I need them. I may not have seen these people face to face for many years (decades?) but still, they reach out - I would wish for everyone to be so blessed.
