One of the ships I wanted to catch was the Ojibway. She is an example of a classic straight decker laker. More on that later.
As I was heading up to my spot, I saw the Port Huron docked across the river in Sarnia. Of course, I decided to take pictures of her.
Little did I realize, she was getting ready to leave but as I look at the first picture, I should have. Her boom was retracted and that is usually a sign of leaving.
I kind of liked the fact that there was a little color.
A straight shot.
I think she was heading up to Goderich where she would pick up salt for Duluth.
Kind of framed by the Blue Water Bridge.
An almost straight out shot.
And she heads out to Lake Huron.
