The ship that drew me up to Port Huron was the Ojibway. She is certainly up there as one of my favorite ships out there.
As you may recall, the Ojibway was built in my hometown of Bay City, Michigan by Defoe Shipbuilding. This shot has a little more color in it.
She is what as known as a "straigth decker". That means she is a ship without self unloading devices. It makes for a very clean looking ship.
A shot of her bow.
And she's framed by the Blue Water Bridge.
Her pilothouse.
Deckhouse.
The Canadian Flag flying proudly in the breeze.
And one more shot of her as she heads into Lake Huron.
