Happy 240th Birthday to the U.S. Navy

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress passes a resolution authorizing the creation of the Continental Navy.  The US Navy recognizes this as its official creation date even though the Continental Navy was disbanded after the Revolutionary War.  The Navy was recreated with the signing of the Navy Act of 1794.  Part of this act was the authorization to construct Six Frigates (of which the USS Constitution is one of them).  Over the years, the US Navy has grown to be the largest on the planet.
Normally, I would post a picture of one of my airplane models but a Navy isn't a Navy without its people.  And here is a figure of one of them in the pretty much classic sailor's uniform.
